Ancient tradition says this raag is so complex and serious that it probably conveys the ultimate truth. I'll leave that to you and your interpretation, for now enjoy this twofer.

Bhatkande’s iconic composition still gets airtime in today's concert halls, and is what I thought was the quintessential Shree. Then I came across this twofer.
It starts with this Drut bandish (4 mins) written and composed by Pt C R Vyas in honor of his guru.

After that knock on the head, if you’re feeling like you need more but slower and for much longer .. hear this masterpiece of a vilambit in Shree by the same composer and singer.
